Coastal Weddings in Cornwall

Working with Sophie and Ben was so much fun! They were so in love, it was lovely to be able to help bring their vision to life and create the most special day.

‘Thank you for all your hard work, it truly was the best day of our lives! All of our family and friends said it was the best wedding they had been to so thank you for all you did and we admire all your hard work.’

After a trek across St Enodoc golf course to get to the most intimate and prettiest of churches they exchanged their vows in a traditional church ceremony at St Enodoc, surrounded by family and friends, before continuing their celebrations with a marquee wedding by the coast in Polzeath.

Their love for seafood, champagne, ivory roses and partying was evident in every detail of the reception. Guests were greeted with a delightful seafood sharing platter by one of my favourites Dish Cornwall, featuring freshly caught local delicacies, which set the tone for a night filled with Cornish food and good vibes.

The decor was nothing short of stunning, with floral arrangements of Roses and Gypsophila adding a touch of romance to their coastal setting. All 10 of Sophie’s bridesmaids wore flower crowns with their own individual shades of blue dresses each with their own personality which complimented Sophie’s bridal bouquet and buttonholes perfectly.

Sophie, looked stunning in a gorgeous classic silk gown with a smile that just kept beaming, and Ben, dashing in his suit, was the perfect gentleman, always at her side. The love and chemistry between these two was undeniable, and everyone in attendance was left in awe of their happiness.

As the sun set, the party got into full swing, with the bride and groom taking to the dance floor to the sounds of their favourite rock band Electric Kicks who had the guests on their feet all night long. These guys definitely knew how to party!

The day after was an informal gathering for guests to enjoy a hearty summer buffet along with local drinks on ice whilst they reminisced on the night before.

“We can’t thank you enough for making our daughters day truly memorable. The day ran incredibly smoothly and the looks on all of our families faces ensured us that the day was a success! Thank you for your time and guidance.”
